I understand what you're going through and I want to help
My desire to work with widowed, divorced, and single women stems from the fact that I witnessed the financial challenges that a single woman can encounter. As the oldest of three children when my parents divorced, I was thrust into the role of a surrogate father and partner since my mother had no one else to turn to.
Money was always hard to come by and our financial problems were always difficult to solve. This experience occurred in the late 60s and early 70s when women were not treated equally to men in so many respects, particularly in the financial and work environments.
I wanted to use my college education degree to teach others about the subjects of finance and investing as these were areas that my mother was never educated in and struggled to understand.
After a brief tenure as a school teacher, I entered the financial services industry in 1980 because I wanted to address the financial needs of single women and make a positive impact on their lives as it relates to their finances and their feeling of self-worth.
